Ask Yourself These 5 Questions to Identify What’s Holding You Back

Did you ever wake up on a Monday eager to hit the ground running and make things happen, only to wind up exactly where you started at the end of the day? We’ve all been there. It feels like your trying to push a massive boulder up a hill! I sit with entrepreneurs every day that tell me how badly they want to take their business to the next level but just don’t know how to get out of their rut.

Do you not know where to begin, or are you afraid that you can’t do it? Or is it that you are so scared to get out there and sell your product or service? don’t feel bad, you are not alone. Most clients I sit down to have a conversation with feel the same way. You have to first identify what the challenge is and where it is coming from before you can move forward.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself to Identify what is holding you back:

  1. What are you passionate about?
  2. Who do you want to help?
  3. What is that one thing that gets you excited to jump out of bed in the morning?
  4. What is one thing you can change right now that can make a significant difference in your business?
  5. What habits are not serving you?

Most businesses get stuck because they lose sight of their vision. The thing that moves people is having a compelling vision. Your vision has to be so important to you it will force you to change and take massive action. They also get too focused on their weaknesses. You have to stop trying to get good at what your weak in and start doing more of what you do well. Find people to help you that may be really good at what you’re not so good at.

Write these five questions down and answer them honestly. Start writing out your vision again so you can clarify it and see it clearly again. Then get to work! You will see how much easier it will be to get going once your passion is reignited and your mind can clearly see what you started this journey for in the first place.
